Nikki is the heart and hands behind Asè Apothecary, a mother, healer, and self taught herbalist whose journey into natural wellness was born through both deep loss and powerful transformation.

A widowed mother of three, Nikki also stepped into the role of raising her niece and nephew after the passing of her sister. Navigating grief while holding a family together reshaped her entire perspective on health, healing, and life itself.

In 2020, during the uncertainty of the COVID era, Nikki made a life changing decision to step away from conventional approaches and begin exploring natural remedies. What started with a simple batch of elderberry syrup quickly turned into something much bigger. The response was overwhelming, people felt the difference.

From there, she began crafting oregano oil, tea blends, and herbal remedies, while immersing herself deeply in nature, plant medicine, and holistic healing practices. Her connection to the earth became both her teacher and her sanctuary.

Nikki holds a degree in psychology and spent years working in the mental health field, supporting at risk families. That background, combined with her intuitive and holistic approach, allows her to support others on a deeper level, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

She is a Level 3 Reiki Master, a certified meditation teacher, and an ordained minister. While she is self taught in herbalism, she has also completed multiple herbal education courses and continues to study plant medicine through both formal learning and hands on experience.

Her passion for healing extends beyond the shop. Whenever she travels, you will find her exploring local apothecaries, learning about regional plants, or hiking nature trails, always seeking deeper connection and knowledge.

At home, her greatest pride is her children. Braxton, her oldest, is driven and hardworking, balancing multiple jobs and responsibilities. Braylan, her middle child, is a numbers minded empath, a sports enthusiast, and an entrepreneur. Her youngest, Bre, is a vibrant entrepreneur with a passion for dance, modeling, and acting. On any sunny day, you can often catch Braylan and Bre outside the shop, selling their shaker fair style lemonades, bringing even more life and energy to the community.

Nikki built Asè Apothecary while still working full time, pouring her heart into every product. As demand grew, she made the decision to leave her career in mental health to fully dedicate herself to her business and her calling.

Today, everything inside Asè Apothecary reflects her mission, to help others return to natural healing in a way that feels accessible, intentional, and rooted in care.

Her products are handcrafted in small batches, using clean, high quality, and often locally sourced ingredients. More than anything, Nikki values community, connection, and the opportunity to support others on their healing journey.
