At the heart of this formula is comfrey root and leaf, an herb traditionally known as Knitbone because of its long history of topical use for bruises, sprains, strains, sore muscles, irritated skin, and tissue support. Comfrey naturally contains allantoin, a compound known for supporting skin cell renewal and helping soothe and condition damaged or irritated skin.

We pair comfrey with plantain leaf and nettle leaf, slowly infused into rich avocado oil to create a powerhouse herbal blend for your home apothecary.

The Herbs Inside

Comfrey Root + Leaf
Traditionally called Knitbone, comfrey is prized in herbalism for topical preparations. Its naturally occurring allantoin helps support skin renewal while its mucilage helps soften, soothe, and moisturize the skin.

Plantain Leaf
A classic skin herb traditionally used for bites, stings, scrapes, itching, redness, and irritated skin.

Nettle Leaf
A mineral rich botanical traditionally used to support healthy skin and soothe areas experiencing everyday inflammation and discomfort.

Finished with beeswax to create a protective moisture barrier and a touch of bergamot essential oil for its fresh botanical aroma.

Directions

Massage a small amount into the desired area as needed. A little goes a long way.
